Happy Thursday Three!
Here are this week's coaching tip, exercise tutorial and question to ponder for the week.
I. The best you can with what you've got.
In an ideal world, we'd always be operating at peak performance, crushing projects at work, hitting the gym early and hard, and spending quality time with our loved ones.
But let's face it, that’s not how things go. Sometimes we have to make do with the time and energy we have available.
Maybe you've been swamped with work or caught a nasty chest cold going around.
For me, this week has been a bit of a downer. I've been feeling achy, old injuries have been acting up, and my mental focus has been a bit lacklustre. The temptation to throw in the towel and do nothing at all has been pretty tempting.
But the truth is, these kind of weeks happen to all of us. The important thing is to keep moving forward and practice taking action, even if it's not perfect.
If you can find a way to do something, no matter how small or messy, instead of doing nothing at all, then you're still in the game.
Take this week's Thursday three, which is clearly not been sent on a Thursday...
II. The human cashew.
Long hours spent seated can really take a toll on our bodies. Whether it's behind a desk, during daily commutes, or just lounging on the sofa, it seems like we always end up looking like a cashew-shaped humans!
But don't worry, there's a simple solution. Being mindful of our posture and stretching regularly can work wonders. One of my favourite stretches to combat the "cashew" is the couch stretch. It's quick and easy and can really help loosen up those tight hip and knee muscles that come from sitting for too long.

III. Quote to ponder
"Imperfect action beats perfect inaction every time." -President Harry S. Truman
P.S. If you enjoyed this week's Thursday Three, share it with a friend.
Thanks,
Jamie
